We want to make it as easy as possible for all to attend the conference. Below you can read about some of the steps Fort Worth Presbyterian has taken to aid in accessibility for those with mobility issues, vision loss and hearing loss. If you have specific accessibility needs that you don’t see addressed here, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do for you!
Disabled parking spaces are located on either side of the building. A portico for drop-off is available at the main entrance, which faces Oakmont Trail. An elevator is located just off the foyer next to the water fountain. A courtesy walker and wheelchair is available.
There is special seating in the auditorium for those in wheelchairs or with walkers. We will be happy to assist you with seating in these reserved areas.
FM assistive listening devices (ALDs) are available in the auditorium and the Lecture Hall. We provide either neckloops or earbuds for the receivers. In the auditorium, these are located at the sound booth immediately to your right as you enter. In the Lecture Hall, ALDs are available just outside the door.
Please Note: We will be recording all sessions at the conference and making them available for free online. If you miss a plenary session or a workshop you wish you could have attended (or if you have trouble hearing in any session) you will be able to listen to them online after the conference.
